Terms of service & privacy

Plain-English terms for ordering from WITT 3D Printing.

1. Quotes & orders

  • Prices shown on the website are estimates. We confirm the final price by email before printing, and no work starts until you approve it.
  • Prices are in Australian dollars. WITT 3D Printing is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
  • Payment is made through a secure Shopify checkout link after you approve your quote. Printing starts once payment is received.
  • Shipping is charged at Australia Post rates and added to your confirmed quote.
  • Custom-designed and printed items are made to order. Once printing has started, orders can’t be cancelled.

2. Your files & intellectual property

  • You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any files you upload.
  • Your files remain yours. We only use them to quote and produce your order, and we never share or resell them.
  • For design-assistance projects, the final design files are provided to you on payment.

3. Prohibited items

We won’t print firearms, weapon components or accessories, items that infringe someone else’s intellectual property, or anything illegal under Australian law. We may refuse any order at our discretion.

4. Quality, tolerances & returns

  • 3D printed parts show visible layer lines and may vary slightly in colour between batches. Typical accuracy is ±0.2 mm.
  • If a part is faulty or arrives damaged, let us know within 7 days with a photo and we’ll reprint or refund it.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Strength, load & liability

  • 3D printed parts are not as strong as moulded or machined parts. They are weakest between layers and can crack, bend or break under strain, load, impact, heat or long-term stress.
  • Parts are made to your file and specifications and are not tested or certified for strength or safety. You are responsible for deciding whether a part is suitable for how you use it.
  • Don’t use our parts where a failure could cause injury or serious damage. This includes load-bearing, structural, lifting, safety, medical or vehicle-critical uses, unless you have independently tested and approved the part.
  • To the extent permitted by law, WITT 3D Printing is not liable for any loss, damage or injury caused by a part breaking or failing under strain or load, or by its misuse or unsuitable use. Where our liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to reprinting the part or refunding what you paid for it.

6. Pickup & shipping

Pickup orders not collected within 30 days may be disposed of after we’ve tried to contact you. Shipped orders are sent tracked, and delivery times are estimates.

7. Privacy

We collect your name, contact details and uploaded files only to quote, produce and deliver your order and to reply to your enquiries. We don’t sell your information. Form submissions are processed by our website host. Contact us at our email to access or delete your data.
